A project with direct links to the work of Mark Hearld. The students begin to understand both written and visual analysis towards contextual sources. The students develop a wide range of skills using pencil, pen, paint, print, collage and photography.
Under The Sea
This project brings together the design processes through initial drawing, printmaking and resulting in a 3D urchin in clay. The variety of tasks embedded within one theme creates depth of ideas and an understanding of resilience towards tasks. The contextual sources for this project are Heather Knight alongside natural coral and urchins.
